I hope you are doing well. Oh, I love this positive word! What a juggling night for me! I glad that I am able to still post the blog tonight. Now we start the discussion about 3rd section: you were created to become like Christ. Turn green light on and hit your gases! Lol.
Questions to discussion:
Is our life suppoes to be difficult? What can it do for us?
Can we work on christlike character on our own?
Why does God wants us to grow?
Why didn't some people grow?
What is the purpose of eating God's Word everyday?
Why does God wants us to rest during difficult times?
How can we grow up when we through lot of issues?
What is the purpose of temptation?
How can we defeating our temptation?
Why God doesn't want us to grow quickly? Is there shortcuts to maturity?
I know there are lot of questions! However, be yourself to answer few questions if you have something on your mind. I read through each chapters and questions appeared in my mind. I can't wait to see you guys on Tuesday! :)

Hey Esther! Good questions. I want to answer a few of the questions that we didn't get a chance to cover last night.
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of temptation is keep us dependant on God. I, personally, feel that I am the closes to God when I am facing a challenge. Because it forces me REALLY press into Him. The best way to overcome temptation is to ask him for help and defend your mind with scripture.
There are no shortcuts to maturity, because we forget the lessons that we have been taught, we have to UNLEARN our bad habits AND Christ-like character must be practiced.
