Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Wow, can you believe that it is October already?!? Keep yourself warm much as you can. Therefore, you will able to stay healthy and feel cozy in warm clothes! ;) It has been third weeks. I hope you have been studying deeply into Life Group's book. I have questions for you! You might answer some questions or ALL if you want. :)

What can we make God smiles?

Who will get some benefit by worshipping?

Should we worship in public or private?

How can we stay focused on God's prescene especially when he feels distant?

How can we develop our relationships and become best friend with God?

Any comments about your thought of those chapters?

  1. I think to answer the first question (since there are several answers) is to put HIM first in all your ways and in everything we do. I'm going to us a silly example, but sometimes when I'm at work and I have what may seem as a 'daunting' task. I always ask with faith for God's guidance, and when it comes through the first thing I'll do is thank him. If we can trust HIM with the little things, we should trust HIM with the 'big' things and remember HE's seen it all.

  3. Yes! I agree this is a really good book. I meant to comment earlier in the week, but before I knew it...IT WAS THURSDAY!

We can make God smile by showing his love to others and being grateful and thankful.

We should worship both in public and private because its builds are relationship with him. Remember "anything we do to please God is an act of worship to him."

  4. Same as Simone... I meant to comment on this before too! Whoops!

My favorite parts, were the five ways that we can please God in worship. I wrote them down on my dry erase board on the wall next to my kitchen table.

Its always good to write things down that we see and impact us. Post it up on a post-it note or small piece of paper and place it around the house where we will see it:
Bathroom mirror, refrigerator, on the door that exits the house. This way when you pass by it, it can act as a reminder.

    Always good stuff!

  5. I agreed with all of you! Haha. The Noah part made me said wow because he never have seen rain before. I have to admit that he has more faith than I do. He made God smiles because he trust him. Even though, he didn't complain or avoid to make the boat because people are watching him. I think we should do what we want to do such as worship, sing, talk to God, or read bible in public because Noah build the boat in middle of desert! Lot of people mock at him and his family. He doesn't care what people think of him. I am very impressed.

I just learned that we aren't his servants because we know about master's business. I think this is cool!

See you guys on Tuesday!! xoxo

  6. Hey Guys I want to post a comment for Chapters 15 and 16

    Chapter 15:
This Chapter reminds me of an earlier chapter about how Earth is just temporary place for us. Being apart of God's Family should be the most cherished because it never changes and there are so many blessings. For me page 118 sums it up for me. One of the thing that we happen to cherish most in an imperfect world are relationships (with friends, family, wife or husband etc...) can easily be destroyed, or it can be significantly altered. However that's not the case with God's family. God will never die and leave us, nor will he 'divorce' or separate himself from us, since that only happens on Earth. He'll always provide for our needs regardless, and it will *always* be enough.

    Chapter 16:
This Chapter mentions that if anything each day we should pray to God that we should spend time loving HIM and loving others! I have just integrated that into my daily prayers...
I didn't even realize that spending time with others is such a loving act since you know its something you can't get back...Amazing...
